MOCK ADVERTISEMENT DECK
This year, I was able to work with four of my peers to create a mock agency -- developing an advertisement deck for a new line of condoms that were designed to not only promote women's reproductive rights but also challenge traditional gender norms. Our goal was to create a campaign that would empower women to take control of their sexual health and challenge outdated stereotypes about who should be responsible for contraception. To achieve this, we had to break free from the traditional language and imagery that is often associated with condom advertisements. We wanted to speak directly to our target audience by positioning these condoms as a tool for empowerment and pro-self health, rather than a source of shame.
